軟骨無形成症患者の生涯の影響に関する研究(LISA)が南米アルゼンチン、ブラジル、コロンビアの医療施設で実施されることが3月13日付で世界中の治験データベース「ClinicalTrials.gov」に掲載されました。研究期間は2019年3月-2020年5月を予定。
当該研究は、2018年2月28日に開示されたドイツ、スペイン、イタリア、スウェーデン、デンマークにおける研究に続き、1年ぶりに拡大展開されます。
It was posted the titled “Lifetime Impact Study for Achondroplasia” at “ClinicalTrials.gov” which is a database of privately and publicly funded clinical studies conducted around the world. The duration of the study is for March 2019 – May 2020. This study is expansion study of “Lifetime Impact of Achondroplasia Study in Europe-LIAISE” at European country disclosed on 28th Feb. The main outcome measure will be healthcare resource use.

概要
3歳以上の軟骨無形成症の被験者における病的負担を調査する観察研究。この研究では、以下の項目に関するアンケートと臨床データを通じて、軟骨無形成症の各人に与える影響について3年間調査します。
- 生活の質の向上
- 臨床的負担
- 医療資源の利用
- 社会経済的負担
- 心理社会的負担
アルゼンチン、コロンビア、ブラジルのクリニカルセンターにて最大175人の被験者を対象にします。
Lifetime Impact Study for Achondroplasia (LISA)
Brief Summary:
Observational study looking at the burden of illness in achondroplasia subjects aged 3 and above. The study will include a 3 year review of historical clinical data as well as a single point collection of questionnaire data to look at the impact on the following in individuals with achondroplasia versus a normative population:
- Quality of life
- Clinical burden
- Healthcare resource use
- Socio-economic burden
