ご挨拶が遅くなりました。本年もよろしくお願いします。
2015年は、多くの読者さん、そして、応援してくださる全国や世界の仲間と出会い、LPAの年次会合に参加した2014年以上に、実りある1年となりました。
2016年はこれまで以上に大きな躍進を願い邁進してまいります。
I hope you have had a nice days. I’m afraid that it is a late greeting.
I have had a good year because I have got more readership, colleagues and supporters through blog ‘GLORY TO ACHONDROPLASIA’. Last year has been more exciting compared to 2014 when I had participated in the LPA conference.
In 2016 I will pray for bigger step and take actions that I have never done before.
■2015年をふりかえる/ Think back 2015
1成長と適応 / Growth and Adaptation
○合併症と向かい合う
- 再発する喘息用気管支炎、滲出性中耳炎の手術、RSウイルスの感染による入退院を繰り返しました。
- 夫婦は、本業の仕事と向かい合いながらも、交代で時間を確保し、少しでも長く、エイゴにより沿い、家族で力を合わせて乗り切っていきました。
○facing complications
- Sequence entering and leaving hospital, because of bronchitis with asthma, operation of secretory otitis media and RS virus again
- Our family members have daily work but corporating each other and beyond the obstacle with being beside Eigo.
○つかまり立ちから歩行へ
- 2歳になる目前でも歩く気配がなかったことから通った療育を3か月で卒業し、見事、自らの力で歩行することができました。
- 卒業後の成長は極めて早く、自力で階段の上り下り、そして、滑り台まで恐れず滑れるようになりました。
- お世話になった医師、保育士、理学療法士の方々には心から感謝しています。
○Standing alongside somebody to support them so they can walk by themselves
- After the graduation of rehabilitation training institute, finally he has got to walk by himself.
- After that, he has really improved and grown. It leads him to the playground slide by himself without being afraid.
- I really appreciate all of theml, the doctors, the Nursery school teachers and the physical therapists.
2.ネットワーキング / Networking
○専門権威・アドバイザーとの出会い
- 海外製薬会社のpatient advocacy group、治験実施の病院担当者、関連学会の医師、臨床試験のコーディネーターなどのキーマンと出会い、多くの重要な示唆を頂いています。
- 国内外の著明な患者さんとの出会い経験談を踏まえ、例え、息子の成長期に、新薬の実用化が間に合わなくとも、低身長を個性とし、社会に広く認知してもらう機会を発信することも重要だと認識しました。
○Meet medical Specialists
- I have kept in touch with the patient advocacy team of pharmaceutical company, coordinator of study site, doctor of society for medical research relating ACH and specialists of clinical trial coordinate firm. I have had important suggestions by them.
- In another aspect, I have also kept in touch with famous patients in domestically and overseas. I got an idea that even if there won’t be a new drug to treat ACH by the time Eigo reaches puberty, I realize it is also important to prevailing that dwarfism is one of the real personality.
○読者層の広がりと家族会へ
- 2015年は、世界30カ国以上からアクセスがあり、日本以外では、とりわけ、アメリカやオーストラリアからの閲覧が多いことがわかりました。
- 情報提供依頼や、協力を志願してくださる日本のご家族に出会いました。なりゆきに任せて、始めたブログは、現在では、頂くお便りも多く、プチ患者家族会ともいうべきネットワークに至っています。
○Increase of Readership so to change into little Parents Group
- I have lots of accesses to the blog from over 30 countries, in addition to Japan, especially US, Australia and so on.
- I have got real relationship of Japanese parents who wants to support my will. No strategy in the beginning but now my blog have got lots of messages by readership and have got kind like little patients group.
3.新薬 / New Medcine
- 2013年5月より、ずっと見守ってきたBMN-111(vosoritide)が、2015年1月に世界で初めて、米・英・豪・仏の患者に投与されました。
- 同年6月には、15μg/kgの投与群が極めて良好な結果を示したことを知りました。
- 当時、雲をつかむ話が、現実になりつつあることを心から感謝するとともに、世界30数名の被験者と各病院の医師の皆様のご健勝を心から応援しています。
- BMN-111(vosoritide) I have prayed since Eigo’s birth, 2013 May 13th, dosed January 2015 for the first time in the world, US, UK, Australia and France.
- In June 2015 BMRN announced cohort 3 that is 15μg/kg daily dose accomplished 50% growth rate improving compared their natural growth rate.
- For the first time I know in 2013 it is difficult story kind like “grabbing the cloud” which is one of figure of speech in Japanese in saying dreams. I really do appreciate and do support doctors about 30 participants.
■2016年に向けて / toward 2016
- ブログでできることは、情報発信がやっとですが、読者の問題意識を受けて、様々な試みを今後も検討していきたいと思います。
- 新薬の情報発信については、単なる開示情報の提供だけでなく、患者が自ら考えるべきという点を踏まえ、問題提起することも視野に入れてまいります。
- そして、日本の患者間の良好な関係構築こそが、最重要課題であるとの認識のもと、異なる価値観、立場・事情を踏まえながら対話を展開できることを願っています。
- From the blog, it is the only way to inform good news but I always remember the will and interests of readership. So I will consider lot of trials.
- Especially, about new drug not simply to inform public information but advocate Japanese patients to think and act by their wisdom.
- Finally, is is most important thing to build good relationship among Japanese patients with caring their different values, stand points and reason.
