ビデオレター「きみがくれたものを語る」初めての誕生日プレゼント / “Video Letter” named “Narrate what you gave” for the First Time Birthday Present

エイゴの3歳の誕生日から、2週間が経過したのち、これまでの写真で「３」の形をリビングの床に作ってみました。姉のサエコが、誕生日ケーキの紙を数字の傍らに置いた際、ふとあることに気付いたんです。

「エイゴに、プレゼントをあげたことがない」

基本的なことながら、まったくの盲点でした。今回、初めてエイゴに誕生日プレゼントを贈るうえで、どんなものがいいか考えた折、お菓子や玩具ではなく、10，20年先にも、ずっとずっと心に残るものが良いとの想いのもと、いつでも見返すことのできる「ビデオレター」を作ることにしたんです。

テーマは、「きみがくれたものを語る～3歳までの軌跡」

過去のいずれの投稿のよりも時間をかけ、3年間、エイゴと一緒に乗り越えたきた苦悩や喜び、気付き、学び、行動を顧みました。

物心がついた後、このビデオレターをエイゴがみて、何を感じて、何を心に残してくれるか。。。個人の記憶に残すことが限りなく難しい0-3歳までのエピソードを綴ります。

It has been 2 weeks since Eigo’s 3^rd birthday, and I made the shape of “3” on the floor of the living room using photos of Eigo.

When Saeko was putting a paperwork of birthday cake, I notice a big problem.

“I have never given Eigo any birthday at the past birthday”

It is a basic matter, but actually I missed it. So, this time I was thinking about what the best birthday present for the first time is, even for 3 years, and it might not be toys and sweets but what he could remember even in 20 years and could see many times in the future, so I decide to make a “Video Letter”.

The theme is called “Narrate what you gave – The memories of his 3 Years”

I spent more time making it than all posts I have written ever and looked back on struggles, delights, notices, learnings and actions which we achieved with Eigo.

After he got to remember, by watching the video, what will he come in his mind and what will he keep in his mind? I’m going to narrate his episode 0-3 years that moment so anyone can memorize those experiences.
